We are needing a quote from a builder for an insurance claim and to also get this job done.

We prefer if you could quote offsite -though we will provide all information necessary.

There is a loud constant noise-particularly after a few cold days that comes from a wall in our hallway which carries the piping (which the water comes through) from the upstairs shower, bath etc.

We have had a building inspector out who has given us a rough estimate of what this job would cost to fix.

This would involve:
1. Making a whole in plaster - that you would deem necessary to resolve issue.
2. Finding the issue and then amending it.
3. Having a professional plasterer plaster the whole.
4. Hiring a professional painter to paint.

This area is near main living area, so we want it done professionally by each trade so the finish is the best etc

The area of wall the noise come down through is 2 and 1/2 metres (H) x 35cm x 35cm x 20cm.
